About Akti tou Iliou
A popular organised beach with water slides for children, a beach restaurant and easy access by tram from the centre. Alimos is a seaside suburb on the Athens Riviera and home to Alimos Marina, one of the largest marinas in Greece, where many yacht charters and island trips begin; the coastal tram stops nearby. Many organised beaches charge for entry or sunbeds in summer, and the sea is warm enough for swimming from June to October.
