About Gregory's Glyfada
Gregory's (Grigoris), Greece's favourite coffee and snack chain, on Glyfada's main shopping street: good-value coffee, freshly made sandwiches, koulouri, cheese pies and spanakopita to eat in or take away. Glyfada is the liveliest town on the Athens Riviera, about 17 km south of the centre, with smart shopping streets, marinas, beach clubs and seafront cafés, and the coastal tram runs here from the city. Greek coffee culture is unhurried: order a freddo espresso or freddo cappuccino, the iced coffees Athenians drink almost all year, and linger as long as you like.
