About Seafront Running & Cycling Route
The seafront path along Posidonos Avenue is where Glyfada runs, walks and cycles, past the marinas and beaches with views over the Saronic Gulf. Go early in summer, or at sunset. Glyfada is the liveliest town on the Athens Riviera, about 17 km south of the centre, with smart shopping streets, marinas, beach clubs and seafront cafés, and the coastal tram runs here from the city. The coastal tram and buses connect the Riviera with the centre, and a taxi from Syntagma takes about half an hour outside rush hour.
