A comfortable rooftop cinema with city views, sofas and deckchairs, showing blockbusters and new releases with subtitles, plus pizza, ice cream and cocktails. Closed for the winter; reopens in spring 2027. Ampelokipi is a busy business and residential district beyond Kolonaki, home to the Athens Tower and well served by the metro. Athens’s open-air cinemas are a summer institution: films are shown in the original language with Greek subtitles, and you can order a drink and snacks from the bar.
