About Marilena Cinema

A neighbourhood summer cinema in Ano Glyfada, first opened in 1962 and brought back to life in 2015 after sixteen years closed, showing new releases in a relaxed garden setting loved by local families. Closed for the winter; reopens in spring 2027. Glyfada is the liveliest town on the Athens Riviera, about 17 km south of the centre, with smart shopping streets, marinas, beach clubs and seafront cafés, and the coastal tram runs here from the city. Foreign films are shown in the original language with Greek subtitles, except for many children’s films, which are dubbed.

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Marilena Cinema before you go.
