Kolonaki is Athens’s most elegant neighbourhood, on the slopes of Lycabettus Hill, with designer boutiques, galleries and smart cafés around Kolonaki Square, and the Benaki Museum and the Museum of Cycladic Art close by. Visitors from outside the EU can claim back VAT on larger purchases; ask the shop for a tax-free form.
