A tiny sushi counter with just a dozen seats, serving a set omakase menu of nigiri and sashimi only. Open weekday evenings; reservations by phone after 2pm, for up to four people. Syntagma is the heart of modern Athens, around the square facing the Parliament, where the Evzones guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier; Ermou, the main shopping street, and the National Garden start here, and the metro runs straight to the airport. Athenians dine late, usually from 21:00, so book ahead for weekend dinners, especially at the best-known tables.
