About Hellenic Seaways
Ferries and fast boats from Piraeus, including the hop to the Saronic islands of Aegina, Poros, Hydra and Spetses, ideal for day trips and short breaks. Piraeus is the port of Athens and one of the busiest passenger ports in Europe, where ferries leave for the islands, and its seafront at Mikrolimano and Kastella is lined with fish restaurants. Buy ferry tickets ahead online in summer and arrive at the port at least an hour before departure; Piraeus is big, so check which gate your ship leaves from.
Timetables, fares and services change, so please check with Hellenic Seaways before you travel.
