About Minoan Lines
Large overnight ferries between Piraeus and Heraklion in Crete, with cabins, restaurants and space for cars. Sleep on board and wake up on the island. Piraeus is the port of Athens and one of the busiest passenger ports in Europe, where ferries leave for the islands, and its seafront at Mikrolimano and Kastella is lined with fish restaurants. Buy ferry tickets ahead online in summer and arrive at the port at least an hour before departure; Piraeus is big, so check which gate your ship leaves from.
Timetables, fares and services change, so please check with Minoan Lines before you travel.
