Regional coaches connect the airport with Rafina port and Markopoulo (change there for Lavrio port), useful for ferries to the Cyclades. Services are less frequent and run during the day only. Athens International Airport lies about 30 km east of the centre and is linked to the city by metro line 3, the suburban railway and express buses. Allow plenty of time for the journey at rush hour, and keep your ticket until the end of the trip.
