About Port of Piraeus

Greece's biggest port, with ferries to the Saronic islands, the Cyclades, the Dodecanese, the North Aegean and Crete. Reach it by metro (Lines 1 and 3 to Piraeus), the suburban railway or the X96 bus from the airport. Check which gate your ship leaves from. Piraeus is the port of Athens and one of the busiest passenger ports in Europe, where ferries leave for the islands, and its seafront at Mikrolimano and Kastella is lined with fish restaurants. Buy ferry tickets ahead online in summer and arrive at the port at least an hour before departure.

Timetables, fares and services change, so please check with Port of Piraeus before you travel.
