About Port of Lavrio

A small port near Cape Sounion, the main gateway to the islands of Kea and Kythnos and to some other Cyclades and North Aegean routes. Lavrio, near Cape Sounion, is a port for ferries to Kea and the western Cyclades, and has been a mining town since antiquity. Buy ferry tickets ahead online in summer and arrive at the port at least an hour before departure; Piraeus is big, so check which gate your ship leaves from.

Timetables, fares and services change, so please check with Port of Lavrio before you travel.
