About Akti Cinema
A small, cosy summer cinema surrounded by trees on a quiet side street in Vouliagmeni, screening films every night of the season since 1976, with Dolby sound and a garden bar. Closed for the winter; reopens in spring 2027. Vouliagmeni is the most exclusive corner of the Athens Riviera, about 20 km south of the centre, with clear water, the Astir peninsula, the mineral-water Vouliagmeni Lake and smart seafront restaurants. Foreign films are shown in the original language with Greek subtitles, except for many children’s films, which are dubbed.
