About National Gallery – Alexandros Soutsos Museum

Greece's most important art museum, founded in 1900 and reopened after a major expansion: Greek painting and sculpture from the post-Byzantine era to the 20th century, from El Greco to Ghika, plus European masters. Ilisia is a central residential area beyond Kolonaki, home to the Megaron concert hall, with the Byzantine and Christian Museum and the National Gallery close by. Opening hours change between summer and winter and many museums close one day a week, so check before you go.

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with National Gallery – Alexandros Soutsos Museum before you go.
