A neighbourhood bar on the leafy Fokionos Negri promenade focused on vermouth, cider and wine, with Basque and Cretan touches on the plates. Kypseli is a central district of fine interwar apartment buildings around the pedestrian Fokionos Negri street, now reviving with cafés and creative spaces. Athens nights start late, with bars filling after 22:00 and many staying open into the small hours.
