A leafy courtyard cinema in Neapoli, below Strefi hill, with arthouse films and restored classics in a calm, local setting. Closed for the winter; reopens in spring 2027. Neapoli is a small neighbourhood on the lower slopes of Lycabettus, between Exarcheia and Kolonaki, with friendly local tavernas and bars. Athens’s open-air cinemas are a summer institution: films are shown in the original language with Greek subtitles, and you can order a drink and snacks from the bar.
