About Bomboniera
Described as the oldest open-air cinema in Greece, screening films since 1918, with new releases and classics in summer. Bomboniera, the little box of sweets, is a piece of cinema history, and an evening here, under the stars with a cold drink, is a classic Kifissia summer ritual. Kifissia, about 15 km north of the centre at the end of metro line 1, is the most elegant of the northern suburbs, with tree-lined streets, 19th-century mansions and smart shopping streets around Kassaveti and Levidou.
