About Vathys
A family taverna open since 1975, known for its charcoal-grilled meats. Vathys is a down-to-earth favourite, with generous grilled meats, salads and a cheerful family atmosphere. Kifissia, about 15 km north of the centre at the end of metro line 1, is the most elegant of the northern suburbs, with tree-lined streets, 19th-century mansions and smart shopping streets around Kassaveti and Levidou.
