Tristrato
1930s café
About Tristrato
A charming café in a 1930s building, hidden behind a flowering courtyard on a quiet Plaka corner. Plaka is the oldest neighbourhood of Athens, a maze of lanes and neoclassical houses below the Acropolis, with tavernas, small museums and shops; it is largely pedestrian and best explored on foot. Greek coffee culture is unhurried: order a freddo espresso or freddo cappuccino, the iced coffees Athenians drink almost all year, and linger as long as you like.
Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Tristrato before you go.
