About Battleship Averof

About 20 minutes up the coast by tram: the 140-metre armoured cruiser Averof, flagship of the Greek navy in the Balkan Wars of 1912–13, now a floating museum you can explore from deck to engine room. Palaio Faliro is a seaside suburb on the way to the Riviera, with Flisvos Marina and a long seafront promenade popular for walks and cycling. The coastal tram and buses connect the Riviera with the centre, and a taxi from Syntagma takes about half an hour outside rush hour.

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Battleship Averof before you go.
