About Congo Palace
One of Glyfada's original seaside hotels, opened in the 1960s heyday of the Riviera and since updated, with an outdoor pool and rooms a stone's throw from the beach. Glyfada is the liveliest town on the Athens Riviera, about 17 km south of the centre, with smart shopping streets, marinas, beach clubs and seafront cafés, and the coastal tram runs here from the city. The coastal tram and buses connect the Riviera with the centre, and a taxi from Syntagma takes about half an hour outside rush hour.
