A much-loved neighbourhood taverna with a courtyard under plane trees, for classic Greek dishes away from the bustle of the main streets. Glyfada is the liveliest town on the Athens Riviera, about 17 km south of the centre, with smart shopping streets, marinas, beach clubs and seafront cafés, and the coastal tram runs here from the city. Book a table outside for sunset at weekends in summer, when the seafront is at its busiest.
