Athens' best-known shopping mall, opened in 2005 beside Neratziotissa metro and suburban rail station (line 1), with more than 200 shops over several floors, from international fashion chains to electronics, plus restaurants and a Village Cinemas multiplex with IMAX. Marousi, in the northern suburbs, is home to the Olympic Stadium of the 2004 Games and The Mall Athens, one of the largest shopping centres in Greece, and is linked to the centre by metro line 1. Visitors from outside the EU can claim back VAT on larger purchases; ask the shop for a tax-free form.
