About Cine Riviera
A green garden cinema in Exarcheia with yellow chairs and a loyal following, known for tributes to great directors, restored classics and European and world cinema. Closed for the winter; reopens in spring 2027. Exarcheia is the student and alternative quarter beside the National Archaeological Museum, known for its bookshops, record stores, street art and lively bars. Athens’s open-air cinemas are a summer institution: films are shown in the original language with Greek subtitles, and you can order a drink and snacks from the bar.
Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Cine Riviera before you go.
