About Cine Vox
A rooftop cinema on Exarcheia Square, open since 1938, with city views and a mix of new releases and classics in a lively, student-heavy neighbourhood. Closed for the winter; reopens in spring 2027. Exarcheia is the student and alternative quarter beside the National Archaeological Museum, known for its bookshops, record stores, street art and lively bars. Athens’s open-air cinemas are a summer institution: films are shown in the original language with Greek subtitles, and you can order a drink and snacks from the bar.
