About The Old Tavern of Psarras

Plaka's oldest restaurant, open since 1898, on a pretty stepped corner. Fresh fish, grilled octopus, moussaka and loukoumades, with live Greek music. Plaka is the oldest neighbourhood of Athens, a maze of lanes and neoclassical houses below the Acropolis, with tavernas, small museums and shops; it is largely pedestrian and best explored on foot. Athenians dine late, usually from 21:00, so book ahead for weekend dinners, especially at the best-known tables.

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with The Old Tavern of Psarras before you go.
