About Color Skates
The heart of the Athens skate scene since 2008: an independent skate shop in Psirri for decks, wheels, skate shoes and streetwear, and one of the official Nike SB skate shops, which also runs skate events and contests. Psyrri, beside Monastiraki, is an old craftsmen’s quarter of narrow streets and street art, full of tavernas, bars and late-night music. Shops in central Athens usually open Monday to Saturday, with longer hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, while many in Plaka and Monastiraki also open on Sundays.
