About Saita

A low-key taverna opposite the church on Kydathineon, known for grilled lamb chops, meatballs and cod with skordalia. Plaka is the oldest neighbourhood of Athens, a maze of lanes and neoclassical houses below the Acropolis, with tavernas, small museums and shops; it is largely pedestrian and best explored on foot. Athenians dine late, usually from 21:00, so book ahead for weekend dinners, especially at the best-known tables.

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Saita before you go.
